All remarks should be directed to the Chairman and not to individual commissioners, staff, or citizens in attendance. Members of the public shall not make inappropriate or offensive comments. Any individual who violates the rules of decorum may be removed from the meeting. The applicant or anyone speaking in favor of the application/request shall be allowed a TOTAL of ten minutes to present their request. Anyone opposed to the request shall also have a TOTAL of ten minutes to present their opposition. (If there are multiple speakers for or against an application, ask them to please be mindful to allow for others to speak, should they wish to do so.) Consideration of Owner/Applicant MonTonSon Development LLC’s (Application Z-23-07-01) Rezoning request for approximately 14.2 acres from Manufactured Home Subdivision to Industrial for tractor-trailer truck parking, storage warehouses, and storage spaces for RVs, at 1121 West Villa Road. Parcel #147-0122,0120,0119,0118,0117,0116,0115,0114,0010,0011,0012,0013,0014, Land Lot 165 of the 6th District. Commission District 3.

Consideration and approval of CHANGE ORDER No. 1 in the total amount of $93,646 for Demolition Readiness for Existing Administration Building as a change order to the AIA Document A133 – 2019, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor as Constructor where the basis of payment is the Cost of the Work Plus a Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price and AIA Document A201 – 2017 General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, between Carroll County, Georgia, acting by and through its Board of Commissioners Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC, as Construction Manager, dated May 6, 2023, and authorize the Chairman to negotiate and execute the change order.

Consideration of approval of Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance (JAG) Grant for Fiscal Year 2023 awarded to the Carroll County Juvenile Court. The grant will be used for psychological evaluations and counseling for juveniles that do not have health insurance.

Consideration of a Resolution finding that a portion of West Villa Road measuring 1.131 aces more or less lying in Land Lot 166, 6th Section of Carroll County, has ceased to be used by the public to the extent that no substantial public purposes are served; authorizing the abandonment thereof; authorizing the Chairman to dispose of the abandoned property; to provide an effective date of this resolution; and for other purposes
