Public comments are an opportunity for the public to address the Commission with any issues or concerns they may have. All remarks should be directed to the Chairman and not to individual commissioners, staff, or citizens in attendance. Members of the public shall not make inappropriate or offensive comments. Any individual who violates the rules of decorum may be removed from the meeting. At this time the Board will not comment nor will the Board take any action on the comments...…. speakers are limited to 3 minutes.

The applicant or anyone speaking in favor of the application/request shall be allowed a TOTAL of ten minutes to present their request. Anyone opposed to the request shall also have a TOTAL of ten minutes to present their opposition. (If there are multiple speakers for or against an application, ask them to please be mindful to allow for others to speak, should they wish to do so.) Anyone speaking for or against the application shall be allowed a TOTAL of five minutes to speak in rebuttal.
C-23-01-01: Conditional Use for a Storage Lot at 1000 Stripling Chapel Road. Parcel #111-0075, Land Lot 228 of the 5th District. Owner/Applicant: Lewis Thomas. Commission District 4.
Z-23-01-01: Rezoning request for approximately 4.5 acres from Residential to Commercial for the purpose of creating a haunted attraction venue on Rocky Branch Road. Parcel #148-0321, Land Lot 133 of the 6th District. Owner/Applicant: Justin Vaughn/JLMM Holdings LLC. Commission District 3.
Items under this action were discussed at the public Work Session on Thursday, March 2, 2023 (now available for view on www.carrollcountyga.com) and will be presented for consideration as a single item. Only one vote will be taken.
Consideration of a Memorandum of Agreement and Grant of Temporary Right of Way for Chattahoochee Camp and Paddle Trail with Trust for Public Land for construction of certain amenities at McIntosh Reserve with a $150,000 contribution from TPL, and to authorize the Chairman to negotiate and execute the Agreement, and take all other actions necessary for the project.
