Carroll County Animal Services is committed to connecting people with their passion in order to further our mission to promote kindness, prevent cruelty and strengthen the human/animal bond in Carroll County.
VISION FOR OUR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
We believe that volunteers are vital to our success, providing unique knowledge and expertise as partners in our mission delivery, advocacy, and creating an engaged an inclusive community. We will create a humane and healthy team where volunteers:
- engage in meaningful work to improve the lives of animals.
- explore and maximize their individual strengths.
- receive training, mentorship and support as they work to further our mission and goals.
Volunteer Requirements:
Volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent of guardian at all times.
All volunteers are asked to commit to at least three 1-hour shifts per month for a minimum of three months.
