Military and Overseas Voting (UOCAVA)

If you are a military or overseas citizen living outside the United States on Election Day, standard procedures apply to your voter registration and absentee application.  However, there are federal provisions to expedite delivery of ballots to those who are members of the U.S. Armed Forces (Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard), Merchant Marines, Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.  These provisions also apply to their family members, and those citizens who reside outside of the United States.  Please refer to this website or the Georgia Secretary of State website for important updates and notices.  We look forward to serving you and appreciate your service to our country.
