I started my childhood days in Tallapoosa but then we moved to Carrollton the summer I started 4th Grade. I have spent almost seven (7) years at Carroll Co Recreation. I knew that I wanted a career in athletics of some type. I started out working in college athletics as a graduate assistant at Troy University and then as a athletic marketing intern at Georgia Tech. My first full-time job offer was in parks and rec for the City of Temple in 2008. I really enjoy working with kids and seeing them grow up through the world of recreation. 12 years later, I’m still a parks and rec kid!
Currently, I oversee the following youth sports at Carroll Co Recreation: Baseball, Co-Ed Basketball (6U), Co-Ed Tee Ball (4U), Girls Basketball, Girls Volleyball, and Softball. My goal for each sport is for the participants to have an enjoyable experience, learn the fundamentals of the game and create a passion for that sport that will last a lifetime! In my off time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I do like being outdoors (fishing and hunting). Also, I like to watch college basketball and football (Go Jackets!) as well as professional baseball.
My Favorite Quotes:
