Absentee By Mail (ABM) ballots for the November 7, 2017, General/Municipal Election will be mailed beginning Monday, October 9, 2017. Any eligible voter may apply to receive an Absentee By Mail ballot. Applications are available online at this website under Absentee By Mail or contact the elections office at 770-830-5823 and request an application be mailed to you. Completed applications should be submitted to the elections office by Wednesday, November 1st to ensure ballot deliver. Submit completed applications by email to email@example.com or mail to Elections & Registration, P.O. Box 338, Carrollton, GA 30112. The last day for the elections office to mail an Absentee By Mail ballot, is Friday, November 3rd. Applications received after this deadline will be rejected.

Early (Absentee In Person - AIP) Voting for the November 7, 2017, General/Municipal Election will begin on Monday, October 16, 2017, at 8:00 AM and shall close on Friday, November 3, 2017, at 5:00 PM.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. There is no Saturday or Sunday Voting. Their is no voting of any kind on Monday, November 6, 2017.

BOARD OF ELECTIONS & REGISTRATION
OF CARROLL COUNTY, GEORGIA
A meeting of the Board of Elections and Registration will be held on October 25, 2017, in the Carroll County Court House, Court Room A, 4th floor located at 311 Newnan Street, Carrollton, GA 30117. The purpose of this meeting is to conduct a hearing at the request of the City of Temple to the qualifications of Gerald Powell for the office of the Mayor of the City of Temple. Further, the Board of Elections and Registration may consider any other business it deems necessary, and may move into executive session to discuss matters deemed exempt under the Open Meetings law. The meeting will start at 2:00 P.M. and end upon Adjournment.
