COVID-19: CORONAVIRUS UPDATE #15
UPDATE ON HOW COVID-19 IS AFFECTING CARROLL COUNTY PARKS
Pretty weather paired with being cooped up inside all week means our citizens will want to get outside more to work out, walk, run, and relieve stress of how the COVID-19 Virus is affecting our community.
We want our citizens to be able to enjoy our Park locations, however, to continue to do our part with social distancing and to flatten the curve of spreading the virus we are implementing the following:
*BATHROOMS ARE NOT IN USE AT THIS TIME DUE TO LIMITED INMATE CREWS
*PAVILLIONS ARE CLOSED DUE TO THEM TYPICALLY BEING USED FOR LARGE GATHERINGS
**TRAILS, AND GREEN SPACE ARE STILL OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, HOWEVER, WE ASK THAT YOU PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING WHILE UTILIZING THESE AMENITIES**
*OFFICE PERSONNEL ARE STILL STAFFED IN EACH LOCATION, HOWEVER, THE OFFICES ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND WE ASK THAT YOU PLACE YOUR $5 PARKING FEES IN THE HONOR BOX LOCATED OUTSIDE OF EACH LOCATION
(Note: $5 is for each vehicle passing into the parks, not for each person)
Please contact the Parks Department with any questions or concerns at 770-830-2222 and stay healthy and safe!
