PUBLIC COMMENTS

Public comments are an opportunity for the public to address the Commission with any issues or concerns they may have.  All remarks should be directed to the Chairman and not to individual commissioners, staff, or citizens in attendance.  Members of the public shall not make inappropriate or offensive comments.  Any individual who violates the rules of decorum may be removed from the meeting.  At this time the Board will not comment nor will the Board take any action on the comments...….speakers are limited to 3 minutes.

10.I.

Judicial Branch - State of Georgia ARPA Grant

Approval to act as Administrative and Fiscal Agent for the entire Coweta Judicial Circuit  in connection with the State of Georgia ARPA Grant to the Judicial Branch;  and prepaying certain expenses from the grant in an amount up to $500,000.00 with a 10% administration fee for the Carroll County Court System which are approved by the State of Georgia Office of Planning & Budget for reimbursement with such grant funds; and authorize Chairman and staff to implement such actions.

Public Safety and First Responder Pay Supplement Grant

Consideration of acceptance of the State of Georgia's Pay Supplement Grant for Public Safety Officials and First Responders; approval of Grant Terms and Conditions.

Intergovernmental Agreement with City of Temple for Sewer Project

Consideration to approve ARPA Subrecipient Intergovernmental Agreement with City of Temple to grant 45% of the cost to replace a Grit Removal System at the Temple Waste Water Treatment Plant, not to exceed $121,500 using ARPA funds

Portable Radio Replacement

Consideration of replacement of portable radios used by all public safety and support agencies with Carroll County on W.A.R.R.S. with Motorola at a total replacement cost of $1,651,572.12 drawn from General Fund to be reimbursed with ARPA funds if approved or 2021 SPLOST.

Consideration to Approve an Advertised Budget Amendment

Budget Amendments – 2021 SPLOST Debt Service Fund

Consideration to Approve an Advertised Budget Amendment to increase the 2021 SPLOST Debt Service Fund revenue in the amount of $1,400,000 and increase the 2021 SPLOST Debt Service Appropriations in the amount of $1,400,000.

Public Works – Re-Striping and Pavement Markings

Consideration of Bids for the re-striping and pavement markings on up to 62.01 miles of various roadways throughout Carroll County, Georgia, including re-striping of center-lines and edge lines and up to 40 stop crossbars (RFP PW22-A004), to be paid out of the LMIG Fund with a 30% match from 2015 SPLOST, and authorize Chairman to execute contract.

Consideration to approve the Redistricting Map and accompanying Resolution Approving the  Redistricting Plan, Requesting that its Local Legislative Delegation have such Redistricting Plan Introduced as Local Legislation at the 2022 Regular Session of the Georgia General Assembly, Providing for an Effective Date, and for other purposes.
