Consideration of a Resolution of the Carroll County Board of Commissioners Imposing a County One Percent Sales and Use Tax as Authorized by Part 1 of Article 5A of Chapter 8 of Title 48 of The Official Code of Georgia Annotated; Specifying the Transportation Purposes for Which the Proceeds of Such Tax are to be used; Specifying the Transportation Purpose for which Tax shall be imposed; Specifying the Estimated Cost of the Transportation Purposes to be funded from the Proceeds of such tax; Requesting the Election Superintendent to call an Election of the Voters of Carroll County to Approve the Imposition of uch Sales and Use Tax; Approving the form of Ballot to be used in such an Election; and for Other Purposes

Consideration of a Resolution regarding Opioid Crisis whereas the Carroll County Board of Commissioners finds and declares that there exist a Public nuisance related to such products and that the County shall pursue such legal action as is available against such Manufacturers, Distributors and others as are necessary, either by itself or in concert with others, and to the full extent available under law

Consideration to Retain J. Anderson Davis, and his firm, Brinson, Askew, Berry, Seigler, Richardson, and Davis, LLP and its lawyers ('Law Firm"), who are hereby designated to investigate, research and prepare claims or complaint(s) for Carroll County, Georgia to file in any appropriate Court or before any appropriate governmental agency pertaining to Opioid Litigation
